"Natural" Pet products

Pet owners must be especially cautious of any products used for pet coat & skin care because unlike humans, our pets cannot always tell us if they are in pain, have a rash, or just don't feel good. And because our pets are usually covered in fur and most likely don't like to be "inspected", we can't easily see the signs of irritation or distress caused by offending products.

Many pet owners believe that if the ingredients in a pet product are all natural that the product must be safe for pets. This is not always true. Our pets skin care needs are different than our own. And there are many natural ingredients that are great for humans, but unsafe for pets.

There are many resources on the internet on pet care & related pet products that are dangerous or which contain dangerous ingredients - some of which include: shampoos, conditioners, flea & tick products, breath fresheners, products that protect grass from urine, toys and ofcourse food.

We cannot list the extensive amount of information available on this topic, but simply provide a reminder that people products are not pet products and that "natural" alone, does not mean "safe".

Pamper your pet by being informed and responsible!
